Nissan cheated with cars’ data

The Japanese car manufacturer Nissan has tampered with data from its cars in Japan. Both the emission data and the consumption tests have been tampered with, the company admits. …

The Japanese automaker also announced a scandal in September: unauthorized personnel were used to test cars before they were sold. Nissan therefore had to recall more than a million cars for a new inspection.

Fraudulent diesels

In the automotive industry, many cases of fraud have turned up in recent years. Eg, Fiat Chrysler, Mercedes, Renault and the Volkswagen group have lawsuits on their hands because of fraud with cars.
