  1. Yesterday I introduced legislation to prohibit the Trump Administration from indiscriminately separating immigrant kids from their parents.

I believe Congress has a moral obligation to stand up and stop the federal government from ripping children from the arms of their parents. We should be in the business of keeping families together, not tearing them apart.

Many of these families are fleeing violence and instability in search of security and safety here in the United States. It’s wrong to traumatize these kids further. Congress must take action right now.

Add your name if you agree:

Sign my petition demanding the Trump Administration stop separating immigrant children from their parents and demand Congress pass our new legislation to solve this moral crisis.

My heart breaks for these kids being separated from their families at the border — many are just frightened toddlers. Congress has to make ending this immoral policy a priority right now.

Thanks for adding your voice to this fight.
