This video from Florida in the USA says about itself:
Mother Screech Owl is in the nest box with her only surviving offspring this year. For some reason two of the eggs did not hatch. I have been gone for two weeks and expected to find 3 owlets when I returned today. First time this has happened. In this clip you will see and hear mother and owlet bonding. This was taken in late morning when it gets a bit hot in this particular nest box. She did not select the one they used last year. Because it is an only owlet it has grown rapidly in 20 days and should be leaving within the next 7-10 days.
I love this!
I hope the owlet will grow up well 🙂
