Still 3 April 2018 in Sichuan, China. Outside Pamuling monastery, there were birds: like these Chinese babaxes.
And like this Elliott’s laughingthrush.
And like this female Chinese white-browed rosefinch.
Two buff-throated partridges started to quarrel.
We had to leave the Pamuling summit, and went down on the Pamuling mountain dirt road.
We met a special bird along that road: a rufous-tailed babbler.
The rufous-tailed babbler is an endemic species for that region.
We went all the way down to Pamuling village. So, stay tuned!
