This photo by Leen Kuiper from the Netherlands shows a little egret, entangled in barbed wire. The bird cried for help. After a complicated route through meadows the photographer reached the egret. He covered the bird with his shirt and managed to disentangle it. The egret flew away with the shirt, which it dropped soon.
