This video says about itself:
The first chick of the 2018 season has arrived on the Kauai Laysan Albatross Cam!
After hatching from its egg on January 28, the downy hatchling received it first meals of stomach oil from its father, Manawanui.
The young bird was named Moikeha (Mo`ikeha in Hawaiian, pronounced Mo-ee-kay-ha) after the most famous navigator in traditional Hawaiian legends. The Kauai Laysan Albatross cam is a collaboration between the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the Kauai Albatross Network.
