This video from Britain is called Male Parrot Crossbill (Loxia pytyopsittacus) by Gunners Park, Shoeburyness, Essex, 13th October 2013.
There is a parrot crossbill invasion in the Netherlands, eg, on Texel island.
These north European and Siberian birds are rare in the Netherlands. They are bigger and have heavier bills than red crossbills. These heavier bills are useful for eating Scots pine seeds. While red crossbills eat Norway spruce seeds from less tough cones than Scots pine ones.
I used to live there
Used to get TV in Dutch on a Sunday evening too
