Rare buff-breasted sandpiper, brown booby in the Netherlands


This 20 October 2014 video is about a buff-breasted sandpiper, attracting bird photographers, on the Maasvlakte in the Netherlands.

Today, 20 August 2017, a buff-breasted sandpiper is present in nature reserve De Zandkes on Texel island in the Netherlands. This North American species is rare in the Netherlands.

This video is called Unbelievably Tame Brown Booby Bird On Christmas Island [near Australia].

On 20 August 2017, a brown booby, a species which one would expect near Australia or in the Caribbean, was seen near Lopik in the Netherlands, and later in Germany. The first brown booby ever for both countries.
