A ‘lovely, bubbly’ 20-year-old has become the 46th victim of the Grenfell Tower inferno to be identified, as 111 high-rise blocks failed the latest Government combustibility tests.

Yasin El Wahabi has been formally identified and his family paid tribute to him today.

The Metropolitan Police released an updated list of the identified victims of the blaze which swept through the 24-storey block on 14 June – including stillborn baby Logan Gomes who police decided to record as a victim of the fire.

The housing company that owns two blocks of flats in Pitsea has said they are not planning to remove flammable cladding found in a recent report.

Genesis Housing Association own both Cleves Court and Aragon Court, off Station Lane, Pitsea and both were found to have cladding that failed a new Government safety test, after a report undertaken following the blaze that engulfed Grenfell Tower.
