Great crested grebe eats crayfish

This 4 July 2017 video shows a great crested grebe eating a crayfish (of which there are several feral North American species in Dutch waters). The parent eats the prey itself, doesn’t give it to its youngster.

Hanneke Stoof made this video near Wilnis village in Utrecht province in the Netherlands.
