Eastern Towhee Father Feeding Fledgling

Baby Eastern Towhee just out of the nest is trying to open the seeds that Dad is giving him, but the fledgling has not quite got the hang of it yet! Towhees go through quite a transformation from sort of generic gray to the striking jet black and rufous colors of the mature male. Filmed in the Great Smoky Mountains – there are no Towhees in Florida.
