Hi Everyone, here are my thoughts on the terror that is happening right now in London and around the world… my thoughts go out to all of the victims of these atrocious acts of violence.

While there is mourning all over the world, especially in London, England, because of the terrible knife attack there, by perpetrators whose identities and motives we don’t know yet; Donald Trump, president of the USA, thinks this is a right time to once more promote his Muslim ban plan for the USA. And to diss Sadiq Khan, mayor of London, on Twitter. Probably because Sadiq Khan is a (very anti-terrorist) Muslim; and a member of the Labour party, opponents of the Conservatives of Trump’s poodle Theresa May in the 8 June British general election.

Trump also abused the bloody London horror for his pet subject of abolition of gun control.

In the immediate aftermath of the London Bridge terror attack, Donald Trump tried to use it as an example of why gun control doesn’t work.

While other world leaders shared their condolences, President Trump tweeted: ‘Do you notice we are not having a gun debate right now? That’s because they used knives and a truck!’

His point seems to have been that gun control doesn’t work, saying terrorists will find other methods to attack people if they can’t access firearms.

However, people pointed out that his tweet proved the opposite of what he intended, as if the attackers could have easily accessed guns the death toll would have been far higher.

‘Can you imagine how many would have died if these losers had had easy access to guns?!’ journalist Crispian Balmer responded. ‘Thank God for v. strict gun control.’

WWII veteran [and staunch supporter of Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn] Harry Leslie Smith tweeted: ‘It’s early morning your time Donald Trump, and even after a good night’s sleep you are still the world’s most dangerous idiot.’ …

Seven people are known to have died in the attack – a terrible figure, but one which could have been larger still if the terrorists had been able to fire into the restaurant.

‘Now imagine if they had semi automatic weapons that can shoot 100 bullets a minute,’ Kumal Nayer wrote.

During the London Bridge atrocity, police accidentally shot an innocent person. One can easily imagine the horror if not just the perpetrators would fire guns, but panic stricken bystanders would start firing guns more or less at random as well.
