Most bird species can survive cold winters because of their warm feathers. However, snow and ice may be problems for finding food. Flamingos also live in the high Andes of South America, where it is mostly cold. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓

Yes, they have a nesting colony in Germany, close to the Dutch border, near Winterswijk.
In winter, they go to the Netherlands.
