Photobomb Alert!!! Watch this Downy Woodpecker get up close and personal with the Cornell Lab FeederWatch Cam. At this vantage point, there’s no mistaking that this downy is a male. Only males have the red patch on the back of their heads; females’ heads are completely black and white.
Watch LIVE at http://AllAboutBirds.org/CornellFeeders for news, updates, and more information about the pond and its surroundings.
This FeederWatch cam is located in the Treman Bird Feeding Garden at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
