12 November 2016
Loud rattle calls and two male Belted Kingfishers battle high in the sky for the rights to prime fishing grounds with plenty of nice perches to hunt from. When an interloper perches within another Kingfisher’s claimed territory harsh rattle calls are given and the fight is on – it appears to be more a test of speed and stamina rather than making hard contact with each other.
