9 November 2016
Watch as a both a Hairy and Downy Woodpecker share the suet feeder on the Cornell FeederWatch cam. Often confused with one another, this gives us a great chance to compare the two similarly plumaged species. Here you may notice that Hairy Woodpeckers are much larger than Downys and have longer bills!
Watch LIVE at http://AllAboutBirds.org/CornellFeeders for news, updates, and more information about the pond and its surroundings.
