Trump surrogate Omarosa Manigault is bragging about the future president’s Republican enemies list. Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks, breaks it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.
“Omarosa Manigault said Donald Trump will keep a list of Republicans who voted against the GOP nominee in the presidential election.
“It’s so great our enemies are making themselves clear so that when we get into the White House, we know where we stand,” the former “Apprentice” contestant told the Independent Journal Review.
She singled out Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who announced on Twitter on Tuesday that he voted for independent candidate Evan McMullin for president.
“If [Graham] felt his interests was with that candidate, God bless him,” she said.
“I would never judge anybody for exercising their right to and the freedom to choose who they want. But let me just tell you, Mr. Trump has a long memory and we’re keeping a list.”
Graham had said he appreciated McMullin’s views on “a strong America and the need to rebuild out military.”
The South Carolina senator had been critical [of] Trump throughout his campaign.
Many other Republican lawmakers have also declined to back the GOP nominee, with some saying they didn’t plan to cast their ballots for either major party nominee.
Aides for Hillary Clinton, the 2016 Democrat presidential nominee, in 2008 kept a “hit list” of politicians they felt had wronged her during her loss to then-Sen. Barack Obama in the Democratic primary.”*

In many cities in the United States people have demonstrated against the new president Trump.
One of the biggest protests was in Chicago. There, thousands of people gathered at Trump Tower. Also in, eg, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Austin protesters took to the streets. In New York, the crowd gathered also at the Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue. …
The protesters shouted slogans like “Not my president” and “No Trump, No KKK, No Fascist USA!” No incidents occurred, no people were arrested. …
Layla, a protester from New York, has not any positive word to say about Trump. “He is the epitome of a failing system in which we no longer know what is true through all the false messages. This is the painful gut feeling that we should express.”
Garbage
A protester who wants to remain anonymous and is wearing a mask calls Trump a rapist. “It is unfair what he does. I do not understand how people can vote for a rapist. He is garbage and we have to accuse him.”
Natasha Elena is not positive about both candidates. “I think Hillary is not a hero, she is even a dangerous candidate. But Trump’s ability to stimulate racist thoughts in large groups is incredibly scary. It is necessary to stand here today.”
Amsterdam has also commented on Trump’s victory; as flowers were laid at the US Consulate. Also a note was hung that read: “Dear America, sorry for your loss, we wish you the best in the dark times that await you.”
Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, who urged Americans to pick up “pitchforks and torches” last month in response to what he called a “rigged” system, on Wednesday denounced thousands of Americans for demonstrating against the president-elect’s stunning victory over Hillary Clinton. “These temper tantrums from these radical anarchists must be quelled. There is no legitimate reason to protest the will of the people,” Clarke said on Twitter, even though the former secretary of state won the popular vote: here.

Tuesday’s election has laid bare bitter truths about our country. Now we must come to grips with the reality of ongoing racism and divisiveness that still plagues us as a nation.
The grave challenges we expect during the coming years – police violence, voter suppression, education inequity or economic inequality – are already here with us today. We do not live 4 years to 4 years. Today and everyday going forward, we must ask ourselves:
As Americans, who do we want to be?
Do we want to allow discrimination to silence the most vulnerable in our communities? Or do we want to stand up for all that we know is right – for the principles of equality and justice that power our collective dream of a better America?
Just as we have not given up before, we cannot give up the fight now – not when our work takes on even greater significance.
In the times when the majority of this country has turned away from principles of equality, when those around us turned to Jim Crow, to Massive Resistance and even to violence, LDF remained steadfast. That does not change today.
In the coming days, I will be meeting with civil rights activists and leaders to talk about what comes next. We all walk in the tradition of the great leaders and ordinary people who came before us, who weathered greater and more devastating storms than we face today. Stand tall and remain steadfast.

CUBA is readying for “enemy action” with five days of military excercises following Donald Trump’s victory on Tuesday.
During his campaign Mr Trump vowed to reverse President Barack Obama’s limited detente moves unless Havana makes more concessions to US-funded opposition groups.
His proposed reversal would be a massive blow for Cuba which has benefited from an increase in tourism to the country.
The military exercises, which were announced yesterday, are the seventh “Bastion Strategic Exercise” drill, the first of which was held in 1980 after Ronald Reagan was elected president.
Communist Party of Cuba member and noted economist Esteban Morales told Telesur that Cuban leaders “must be worried because I think this represents a new chapter.”
The billionaire’s victory was also met with trepidation in Venezuela which Mr Trump previously slandered as a “dictatorship.”
However ruling United Socialist Party vice-president Diosdado Cabello claimed to be indifferent to the result.
“We don’t care who wins,” he said. “We know what the intentions of imperialism are, whoever is president.”
