Yemen: Saudi led coalition bombers kill workers at crisp factory

THE Saudi-led coalition bombed a crisp factory in Yemen’s capital Sanaa yesterday, killing 16 workers and wounding 10.

The latest terror raid in Riyadh’s campaign to reinstall ousted president Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi came just three days after peace talks in Kuwait — a member of the nine-nation coalition — adjourned for a month.

Factory director Abdullah al-Aqel confirmed the death toll. Residents said they saw six charred bodies pulled from the rubble.

Sanaa airport was also targeted, coalition spokesman General Ahmed Assiri said, and all flights were cancelled.

Other attacks hit the towns of Saada, Ibb and Hajja, where three more civilians were reportedly killed.
