The Garifuna people are taking a revolutionary stance in Honduras. The people are a mix of indigenous Caribbeans and Africans. They have been fighting for racial and cultural justice for decades. After the 2009 coup d’etat in Honduras, the Garifuna’s role has been pivotal in the resistance movement.
