I think this is the same type of hawk that was standing on the railing of my back deck one day, in June 2013. I was living in Virginia at the time–East Coast, USA: https://storieswithnobooks.com/2013/06/24/the-hawk-stands-with-no-fear/
It wasn’t the least bit afraid of me. An Absolutely beautiful hawk, it is!
