This video from the USA says about itself:
FDR: It Is Un-American To Profit Off Of War!
24 May 2016
Thom shares clips of FDR, proving that once upon a time, our leaders recognized that it is wrong to make a profit off of death and destruction.
Decades ago, not only a Democrat like Franklin Delano Roosevelt, but also at least some Republicans opposed war profiteeers. Like Republican senators on the Special Committee on Investigation of the Munitions Industry in the 1930s.
And President Eisenhower’s farewell speech, in which he warned against the military-industrial complex.
Unfortunately, in this 21st century, war profiteering is worse than ever.
