This video from Britain says about itself:
I filmed this colony of sand martins in slow motion using a Panasonic HC-V750 Camcorder
Filmed in June 2015
Video Produced by Paul Dinning – Wildlife in Cornwall
Translated from Dutch NOS TV today:
In the fields of steel company Tata Steel [in IJmuiden in the Netherlands] are many unusual animals and plants, including species that are threatened in the rest of the country or vulnerable. A moss species has been discovered there found nowhere else in the Netherlands, Ceratodon conicus.
In June, there are thousands of orchids in bloom on the property. Sand martins and a peregrine falcon nest there. … Large groups of sand lizards and natterjack toads live there.
Tata Steel owns 750 hectare there and does not use all of it, which gives wildlife chances.
If only all news about Tata Steel and wildlife would be as good. Unfortunately, it isn’t.
good one……..
