White Breasted Nuthatch is house shopping and dreaming of living in a big mansion, but Mr. Woodpecker is having none of it! Nuthatches are very woodpecker-like tree-dwelling little birds and do nest in cavities, but this one is just window shopping!

  1. Both of these birds regularly visit my urban feeders. Unlike the Grackles they dine and depart without any fuss. The Grackles on the other hand create a three ring circus deluxe whenever the suet goes out. I tell myself everyone needs to eat. 🙂
