After 19 April 2016 in Extremadura, Spain, came 20 April for us. We walked to the same river as on 18 April. Flowers everywhere.
Like these hollow-stemmed asphodel flowers.
A cinereous vulture flying overhead.
Corn bunting, crested lark songs.
We also hear a cuckoo. And a quail. And a bee-eater.
Two hoopoes flying.
A beautiful holly oak tree.
We reached the river. Much more water in it than two days ago, because of yesterday’s showers.
Then, the rain started again. Lots of rain.
As we walked back, we saw this gum rockrose flower.
