This winter had been unseasonably mild in Cambridge, UK, too and it seems to have changed some of the winter bird activity here. My garden has seen much reduced visitation and the numbers and species in the nearby countryside has been unusual – lots more yellowhammer, corn bunting and reed bunting than I’d expect.
