This video from the USA says about itself:
US Bombs ISIS in Libya, Allies Support ISIS in Libya

Pan-African News Wire Editor Abayomi Azikiwe says the U.S. is acting like the chief policeman of the region after it participated in the destruction of the Libyan state in 2011.
The Libya intervention is a case study in the perils of regime change. What began as a limited air campaign designed to keep Qaddafi’s forces from carrying out threats of a bloodbath in Benghazi soon morphed into a successful effort to overthrow him: here.

UNITED NATIONS human rights head Zeid Raad al-Hussein urged the security council to increase monitoring in Libya and “take action” against rights violators following the release of a report documenting torture, beheadings and other violence in the country.
Investigators in his office released a 95-page report pointing to growing human rights violations in Libya over the past two years.
The chaos into which the country has been thrown was sparked by the Nato-backed overthrow of Muammar Gadaffi in 2011 and the division of the country between two rival governments.
British and French warplanes were put at the disposal of tribal and Islamist groups united in nothing more than the desire to overthrow Colonel Gadaffi.
Investigators have heard from 250 victims and witnesses and received 900 complaint files in recent months.
Lawlessness has given an opening to Islamic State (Isis) militants to gain territory in Libya and provided an outlet for human traffickers to transport migrants toward Europe.
The Special Deterrent Force militia, which is loyal to the Islamist-backed government in Tripoli, claimed yesterday to have arrested the leader of the Isis branch for the western city of Sabratha.
The militia group said that, following last week’s bombing of the city by the US air force, it had detained Isis leader Mohammed Saad al-Tajouri and killed dozens of Isis members in a gun battle.
It added that Mr Tajouri claims to have been sent by Isis leaders in Sirte to take charge of Sabratha. The group will release videos of the arrest and his purported confessions.
