Rare common loon in Dutch lake

This video is about a great northern diver, or common loon, Gavia immer, feeding in the Leekstermeer lake, Drenthe province in the Netherlands, 30 January 2016.

Warden Albert Broekman from Drenthe reports today on that common loon in the Leekstermeer.

This species had not been there since 1985.

The bird was still reported yesterday, but so far not today.
