Humpback whale spotted at Dutch coast on Friday January 1 2016

West of the Dutch coast on Friday, January 1st, 2016 a humpback whale was spotted. The animal swam off the coast of Hoek van Holland, in the Maas estuary off Rotterdam / Maasvlakte. The crew of a pilot-boat could make a recording by which could be established with certainty that it was a humpback whale. The animal swam farther north eastwards.
