Long-finned pilot whale beached


This 2 December 2015 video is about the long-finned pilot whale beached in Zeeland province in the Netherlands.

Dutch regional broadcasters Omroep Zeeland report today that a long-finned pilot whale has beached near Vlissingen.

It is an adult male, about 5-6 meter long and weighing about 800 kilogram.

Today, the whale will be brought to the veterinary department of Utrecht university. Scientists will investigate there why the animal died.
