Planned Parenthood Support Rally 7

26 October 2014

An anti-choice Taliban group of Catholic fanatics are back to protest at the women’s health center in Colorado Springs for 40 days before the election in support of the same stupid “personhood” bullshit that Cory Gardner co-sponsored, then flip-flopped on, (BUT did NOT UN-sponsor the national bill to establish vatiCON doctrine as law) so we showed up to support Planned Parenthood at Fillmore and Centennial.

This video was taken Saturday, October 25, 2014. It includes the removal of a sign illegally placed on private property by a guy, Joe Martone, who has been arrested several times for trespass, who was first asked if he wished to remove the sign himself, one of their members complaining to the police that he thinks he’s been slandered because of a sign that says “American Taliban stay out of my body”, which got him a short lesson in the slander laws, one of their members who stopped in the middle of Centennial Blvd to yell at our people, causing a traffic danger, a discussion with one of their members who came over to stand among us and pray on us, and Perry explaining the police action and resolution.

These “abolitionists” are in support of Amendment 67 which would ban emergency and implantation contraception along with abortion, make performing an abortion a class 3 felony AND make having a miscarriage a crime.

This “personhood” bullshit (November will be our third time to vote against it) is the radical vatiCON ideology of defining life as beginning at fertilization and endowing a zygote, a blastocyst, a hollow ball of undifferentiated cells, an embryo, a morula, a single diploid cell with all the rights of any U.S. citizen and MORE rights than the female host within whose body it dwells.

Women could be arrested for spontaneous miscarriages OR for anything deemed to not facilitate the uterus in implantation of a fertilized egg, which could include airplane travel, scuba diving, use of aspirin or any NSAIDs, synthetic thyroid medication, heart medication, acne drugs or even insulin.

Lawyers could sue on behalf of the zygote for anything from an inheritance to suing its sibling for murder for leaving a roller skate at the bottom of the stairs… accidentally causing the woman to trip and miscarry.

The possible slippery slope of this unconstitutional idiocy would make it each church’s business what medical procedures anyone had done AND, if a blastocyst of undifferentiated cells is a person, then my own sperm could sue me for alienation of affection.

Planned Parenthood‘s network of more than 820 health care centers provides critical reproductive health services for men and women, including Pap smears, contraception, cancer screenings, and testing for sexually transmitted diseases and infections.

They SAVE lives.

Pro choice is NOT pro abortion.

No one is FOR abortions.

Blastocysts, zygotes, morula, embryos and fetuses are NOT babies any more than my swimming sperm are. Babies that have grown up to be women have all the rights of any human unlike these assholes believe.

To really help children, these far right Roman Catholics should stop paedophile priests within their church, Coloroda Springs Action claims.

Planned Parenthood Shooting Appears To Have Been Politically Motivated

After he killed 3 people and was arrested, Robert Lewis Dear said, “no more baby parts.”

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — The man who police say staged a deadly shooting attack on a Planned Parenthood clinic that offers abortion services said “no more baby parts” after his arrest, a law enforcement official said Saturday.

The official could not elaborate about the comment by the 57-year-old suspect, Robert Lewis Dear. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the official was not authorized to speak publicly about the ongoing investigation.

Planned Parenthood said late Saturday that witnesses said the gunman was motivated by his opposition to abortion. An official who has been briefed on the investigation told The Washington Post that the attack was “definitely politically motivated.” …

Attorney General Loretta Lynch released a statement on Saturday evening, describing the attack as “not only a crime against the Colorado Springs community, but a crime against women receiving healthcare services at Planned Parenthood, law enforcement seeking to protect and serve, and other innocent people.”

The attack thrust the clinic to the center of the ongoing debate over Planned Parenthood, which was re-ignited in July when anti-abortion activists released undercover video they said showed the organization’s personnel negotiating the sale of fetal organs.

Planned Parenthood has denied seeking any payments beyond legally permitted reimbursement costs for donating the organs to researchers. Still, the National Abortion Federation says it has since seen a rise in threats at clinics nationwide. …

The facility provides women’s health services and has long been the site of regular anti-abortion protests. A Roman Catholic priest who has held weekly Mass in front of the clinic for 20 years said Dear wasn’t part of his group.

“I don’t know him from Adam,” said Rev. Bill Carmody. “I don’t recognize him at all.”

Either the Reverend Bill Carmody tells the truth. Or he behaves like Saint Peter, who, according to the Gospel of Luke 22:34, claimed not to know Jesus when asked.

And he [Jesus] said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

Or like ex-president of the USA Bill Clinton, who claimed: ‘I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.’

The Huffington Post article continues:

Dear, who was in custody and is expected to make his first court appearance Monday, was described by neighbors as reclusive. They said he stashed food in the woods, avoided eye contact and warned neighbors about government spying.

Warning about government spying in itself is, unfortunately, not lunacy at all. However, on the far right fringe of United States, there are moronic conspiracy theories about it, ever since the John Birch Society in the 1950 claimed that President Eisenhower was a Soviet spy. As sung about by Bob Dylan in this song:

This Bob Dylan music video from the USA is called John Birch Paranoid Blues (Live at Town Hall, April 1963).

At a vigil Saturday at All Souls Unitarian Church, Rev. Nori Rost called the gunman a “domestic terrorist.” In the back of the room, someone held a sign that said: “Women’s bodies are not battlefields. Neither is our town.”

Vicki Cowart, the regional head of Planned Parenthood, drew a standing ovation when she walked to the pulpit. She promised to quickly reopen the clinic. “We will adapt. We will square our shoulders and we will go on,” she said. …

Cowart said the gunman “broke in” to the clinic Friday but didn’t get past a locked door leading to the main part of the facility. She said there was no armed security when the shooting began. He later surrendered to police after an hours-long standoff.

In the parking lot of the two-story building, one man said the gunman shot at him as he pulled his car out, blasting two holes in his windshield. Inside, one worker ducked under a table and called her brother to tell him to take care of her kids if she was killed.

At one point, an officer whispered reports into his radio as he crept through the building. Others relayed information from surveillance cameras and victims in hiding. “We’ve got a report of a victim texting from just east of the lobby,” someone said.

In the end, a six-year veteran University of Colorado police officer was killed. Two civilians also died, though their identities weren’t immediately released. Five other officers and four people were hospitalized.

Cowart said all 15 clinic employees survived and worked hard to make sure everyone else got into safe spaces and stayed quiet. …

Zigmond Post, who lives near the RV where Dear lived, said he didn’t have many interactions with Dear but he said the suspect once gave him a pamphlet opposing President Barack Obama.

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, two fires at Planned Parenthood clinics in October in Thousand Oaks, California and Pullman, Washington were the result of firebombing attacks. Neither attack has resulted in any arrests. David S. Cohen, a law professor at Drexel University, told the SPLC at the time that “there is a small contingent of anti-abortion terrorist who are seizing on this moment to further target clinics and providers. It’s scary to contemplate what might happen next”: here.
