Banker’s Lament
My little heart
is filled with despair.
I live in London,
I’m a millionaire.I work with people
who call me Sir.
I work with people
who wouldn’t careif thugs broke into
my house in Mayfair,
stole my Warhol
and tied me to a chair.Love, love, love
is everywhere.
When, when, when
will I get my share?…

A MAYFAIR investment banker has been arrested and released pending further inquiries over the shoving of a woman in front of a bus on Putney Bridge, London.
Eric Bellquist, who works for Hutton Collins Partners, has denied that he is the man in a viral video which shows a male jogger veer off course and push the woman into traffic, only being saved by the lightning reflexes of a bus driver.
The video, which was released on Monday, shows the bus swerving to avoid the woman and stop so that people could get out and help her back up.
The jogger came back across the bridge 15 minutes later and refused to acknowledge the victim when she confronted him.
Mr Bellquist, a top boss at the Wagamama and Byron restaurant chains, says he has “irrefutable proof” he was in the US at the time of the incident, which took place at 7.40am on May 5. Police said last night that he is still under active investigation.
Witnesses can call Putney safer neighbourhood team on (020) 8785-8874 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555-111.
