Good otter news from Dutch Friesland

This is an otter video.

Translated from Friesland province in the Netherlands:

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2015

To tackle otter bottlenecks, the provincial executive has made available 732,530 euro in the province of Friesland. These bottlenecks are places where otters try to cross a road to another nature reserve.

Besides four crossings where otters have been killed, the province is tackling 18 potential bottlenecks. All work will be completed in 2017. The measures usually consist of placing tunnel tubes and fences that lead to these tunnels.
