Blue Jays Mobbing American Kestrels, August 6, 2015
Blue Jays cooperatively harass two American Kestrels who are perched in a large dead tree in Sapsucker Pond. One of the Kestrels may be a parent and the other a juvenile. The Blue Jays continued the mobbing behavior for approximately 15 minutes, diving and following the Kestrels.
