Corbyn aims for more working-class MPs
Monday 24th August 2015
JEREMY CORBYN pledged to open up Parliament to those on the sharp end of the Tory class war yesterday by subsidising the selection campaigns of poorer activists seeking to become MPs.
A “diversity fund” would seek to address the paucity of working-class MPs on the Labour benches, he said.
Currently just 7 per cent of the party’s parliamentarians come from a background of manual work — compared to 12 per cent who were privately educated.
“If at the next election we as a party have hardly any candidates from the front line of Tory cuts then it will be very hard to be heard by voters we need to win back,” Mr Corbyn said.
There is something extraordinary about this man and it even shows in his face. Than you dear Kitty

Thank you, Micheline! I hope the dirty tricks of the right wing against him won’t succeed.
