Rare birds in Dutch Flevoland in 2011

Great grey shrike

Dutch conservationists Natuurmonumenten report about rare birds in Flevoland province. In Harderbroek reserve, a great grey shrike winters.

In the Harderbos nature reserve, hundreds of red-crested pochard ducks spend the winter.

And both in Harderbos and Voorsterbos reserves, a raven couple flies around. Will they nest there next spring [in 2012]?
