Ice age stone age arrowhead discovery on Texel island Posted on January 25, 2015 by petrel41 Ecomare museum on Texel island in the Netherlands reports today, that on the beach, near beach post #9, this arrowhead (see photo) has been found. It is about 15,000 years old, made of flint. Hunters/gatherers from the late Ice Age made it.
