Lesser scaup in the Netherlands

This video from Wales is about a lesser scaup, swimming between tufted ducks, mute swans and a black-headed gull. It says about itself:

This very fine drake Lesser Scaup has been returning to the Cardiff area for a number of years but this was the first time I’d gone for it, calling in on the way back from the Common Yellowthroat. It showed very well for me but the light was awkward and fading fast.

For some time already recently, there has been a lesser scaup near Biddinghuizen village in Flevoland province in the Netherlands.

This North American duck species is rare in Europe.
