This photo shows a Herminium monorchis, or musk orchid.
Orchid researchers in the Netherlands write (translated):
September 8, 2014
After 15 years of absence, this summer the musk orchid is back in the North Holland mainland dunes. The discovery was at the Kennemerstrand, a dune valley in South Kennemerland. In recent years this species was known only from Lauwersoog. So, the musk orchid remains, with only two localities in the Netherlands, a very rare species.
