ZANGLIJSTER HOUDT VAN ZONNEBADEN
Ons huis bestaan heeft veel grote ramen en dat vind ik prettig. Het is
eigenlijk een grote kijkdoos en waar je ook bent, er valt altijd buiten
wel wat te zien. Vanuit het keukenraam heb ik al dagen lang een stel
zanglijsters in de voortuin zien rondscharrelen en met een beetje geluk
decimeren ze de slakken die anders onze hosta’s veranderen in een grote
gatenkaas! Het is een uur of twaalf en het zonnetje schijnt uitbundig.
Tijd voor een zonnebad, meent een van de zanglijsters en gaat er eens
goed voor zitten. De staart wordt gespreid, de bek open om de
overtollige warmte af te voeren. Het schijnt dat door de ultraviolette
straling van het zonlicht allerlei parasieten worden verjaagt maar
volgens mijn waarneming zat de zanglijster ook gewoon even te genieten
van zijn zonnebad. Deze keer was ik wel op tijd met mijn fototoestel,
de bewijspixels gaan hierbij!
