Northern hawk-owl, snowy owl still present

This video is about the snowy owl on Vlieland island. It is also still present today.

We have two kinds of owls here….one I think is called a barn owl and not sure on the other one…..they are interesting creatures!

  Its smaller….they hoot at each other at night….we have one in the tree by the house and the other is in a tree in the horse pasture…so we have stereo owls:)

      Thank you:) We looked and we are certain we have the Barn Owl, the Western Screech Owl and wb said we have the Burrowing Owls here too, where they live in the ground.

        🙂 Thank you…We have lots of hawks as well as various critters both on the ground and in the air….along with deer and coyotes….we do worry about cougars as one was spotted close to our house last summer and we do worry about wolves….they have been coming down off the mountains and into our lands around here.
