This video is about a group of flamingoes, both greater and Chilean flamingoes, wintering in the Netherlands. They nest in nature reserve Zwillbrocker Venn, in Germany, close to the Dutch border.
Marlies Verda made the video.
First nesting evidence of Greater Flamingo (Phoenicopterus roseus) at the Halk El Menzel lagoon (Tunisia): here.

Hey guys,
I love these Flamingos. I´m out of Germany and living in the Zwillbrocker Venn. The flamingo island is a very nice place and if you think of it to go on vacation in this place i can recommend you the Hotel Kloppendiek. I hope i can help some of you and excuse me for my bad english.
