I love watching birds feed their babies. To that end I have a birdhouse hanging right outside the window here by my computer just so I can watch the nest building and subsequent feeding. Natalie 🙂

Hi, thanks for the comment! Which birds nest there?

Nothing exotic or fancy! Just some sparrows and such. Still fun and endearing to watch. Even more so when the fledglings are being coaxed to finally leave the nest and fly. Occasionally I’ll stumble across a robin’s nest up in the rose arch nearby. This year one of my cardinals actually started a nest up on top of my rose arch, but some feral cats got too close for forget for her to finish it. Natalie 🙂

Off the top of my head I’ve seen these that I’ve heard called House Sparrows, American Tree Sparrows, Chipping Sparrows, Song Sparrows. Vesper Sparrows, and Lincoln Sparrows.
