Bumblebees in nestbox, video


This nestbox was intended for tits. However, a colony of red-tailed bumblebees went to live in it.

Many birds are insectivorous, but just because they like to eat insects doesn’t mean they want to share their home with bugs. Resident insects are not an easy meal for nesting birds – they can be unhealthy, even deadly to birds – and removing insects from bird houses is essential to safeguard nesting birds and their broods: here.
