Immigrants tortured horribly in Greece

Senegalese migrants in Athens protested in front of the City Hall, over the death of Cheikh Babacar Ndiaye, a migrant who died falling on the subway track during a police operation to remove street vendors.

The Senegalese community in Athens together with the movement “United Against Racism and the Fascist Threat” (KEERFA), organized a demonstration in front of the City Hall to protest the death of Cheikh Babacar Ndiaye, a migrant from Senegal, who worked as street vendor, and died falling on the subway track, after being chased by Municipal Police on Friday, as reported in the story:

During the protest, three representatives of the Senegalese Community, and the brother of the victim, were accepted to meet the Mayor of Athens, Giorgos Kaminis.

At least one politician of the conservative government party in Greece advocates collaboration with the nazis of the Golden Dawn party.

When reading this report, from Dawn of the Greeks blog, one might almost suppose that the nazis are already part of the Greek government:

Fierce torture of immigrants; electricity flows on genitals at the airport of Eleftherios Venizelos

Anti-racist groups and [the] Pakistani community in Greece have reported brutal torture on immigrants with electricity flows on genitals, sexual demands, punches and kicks to vitals parts of the body at the airport of Eleftherios Venizelos. The incidents revealed after a visit of a delegation of the anti racist group KEERFA in the detention center of Heliniko in Athens.

More specifically, Daoud Ahmed, one of the prisoners had complained of eye injury by a police officer at detention camp of Amygdaleza. When had asked to go to hospital for a check, he complained that he was beaten with fists to the jaw, and that they had used nine times on his body an electric torture device as well as kicked him in the stomach.

Vasi Heider, another victim, has also reported torture on his genitals with an electric torture device and that there were racist insults as well as sexual demands by a police officer for oral sex.
