This is a video about coots at their nest, and two great crested grebes in love.
Yesterday, I saw one very young coot chick at the nest. As its parent spread out its wings, I knew there must be more chicks hiding under those wings.
Today, I saw three little coot babies’ heads protruding from under the wings. So, at least three chicks. Just heads, as it is still cold and rainy today.
