Siskins and robin on the balcony

This is a video of a male siskin feeding on peanuts.

Many siskins this morning: up to eight together on the peanut feeder; two on top of the nestbox; on the railing … and many more in the tree.

Also a robin. Robins have a reputation of being nice, sweet birds. Some people point out that they are not so nice and sweet, as they drive other birds away from the feeding. However, this robin today waited its turn until a siskin, a smaller bird, had finished eating seeds in the plastic box on the left.

Other visitors: a great tit; a wood pigeon; a magpie. A jackdaw sits in the tree, but does not go to the balcony.
