Translated from NOS TV in the Netherlands:
Also horse meat in Albert Heijn lasagna
Updated: Wednesday, 13 February 2013, 20:16
The lasagna bolognese of the brand Euroshopper of Albert Heijn supermarkets contains, besides beef, also horse meat. AH had already removed the product from their shelves. The label did not mention the horse meat. Plus and Boni had removed their lasagna from the shelves already earlier.
Two Dutchmen involved in this case were already convicted in 2012 because they had sold South American horse meat as Dutch halal beef. One of them is now the CEO of a meat corporation in Cyprus.
He sold horse meat from Romania to a company in Breda. The NVWA inspected that company today.

50 miljoen kilo rundvlees verdacht
Update: woensdag 10 apr 2013, 16:30
