This video is called Common Buzzard on snow covered flat plain.
This morning, just south of Nieuw Vennep, a buzzard sitting on the snow along the railroad.

The Common Buzzards from northern areas seem to have lighter eye color, beige-colored, sometimes nearly yellow while Buzzard in Middle Europe have rather dark brown iris. I am not sure whether this is a rule or just incidental variation. I tried to find out anything about it without success.
