In June 2012 Gerrit Schepers made a beautiful video about a crane couple with two chicks. Now, as we are three months later and the chicks have fledged, we can put the video on the Internet.
One of the chicks is still alive, the other one did not make it. Of the seven chicks born this year in the Fochteloërveen three have fledged.
