Bahrain. There have been marches since early morning in Sitra, commemorating teenager Ali Ashaik, who was killed by security forces at the end of Ramadan last year. An EA correspondent reports, “The protests were heavily attacked by police, with extensive use of shotguns leading to injuries.”
